The power supply carries an 80+ Platinum rating, which means it is more efficient than 80+ Gold units, and Asus backs it with a 10-year warranty. [1]
Asus says the unit uses GaN MOSFET technology to improve efficiency by up to 30% and reduce operating temperature. [1]
The PSU is fully modular and supports PCIe 5.1 and ATX 3.1, making it suitable for modern gaming rigs. Asus says 850W is enough for high-end builds with cards such as the RTX 5070 Ti and RX 9070 XT, both of which call for at least 750W. [1]
