Tony Incenzo completed his 54-year quest to visit every English non-league football ground on Easter Monday 2026 at Fulwood Amateurs' match against Thornton Cleveleys. [1]

The 62-year-old, who became the youngest person to visit all 92 English Football League grounds in 1981 at age 17, said: "It's just overwhelming emotion. To finally do it, on a glorious sunny day, with a lovely green pitch, is a great relief." [1]

In all, Incenzo has now recorded visits to more than 2,000 non-league grounds when clubs that later dropped out or dissolved are included. His scrapbook holds stamps and signatures from every home club he visited during the journey. [1]

He turned to non-league football after finishing the Football League set and said he values the atmosphere and access as much as the bigger professional games. "I get as much enjoyment from going to humble non-league clubs as I do big showpiece games," he said. [1]

The current English non-league system has 996 clubs across 48 divisions, running from steps five to 10 of the pyramid. Incenzo's final tally capped a campaign that stretched across decades and different versions of the lower-league game. [1]

With the groundhopping quest now complete, Incenzo's record stands as a full sweep of the English non-league map, from the smallest local parks to the clubs that no longer exist. [1]
