Jack Draper said Andy Murray will support him throughout the grass-court season, including Wimbledon, after the world No. 6 parted ways with coach Jamie Delgado after six months. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Draper, 24, said he was “very grateful” for Delgado’s work and called him “a world-class coach and a great man.” He added: “In the interim, I will continue to be supported by the excellent team at the LTA, with the addition of Andy Murray, who will be supporting me throughout the grass-court season.” [1]

Murray, 38, retired from professional tennis in 2024 and has won 3 Grand Slam singles titles, including 2 at Wimbledon. He also coached Novak Djokovic in a six-month stint that ended in May 2025, after which he has now returned to the courtside role with Draper. [2, 3, 4]

Draper will miss the French Open because of knee issues, leaving the grass-court run-up as his next major target. He was hurt in April at the Barcelona Open, according to The Guardian. [1, 3]

Wimbledon is scheduled to begin on 2026-06-29, giving Draper and Murray a clear deadline for their first spell working together. [1]
