Iran said late Sunday it received the US response to its 14-point proposal, which it said was sent via Pakistan, and state media reported that Tehran was reviewing the reply. [1]

The proposal called for the two sides to settle their disputes within 30 days and aimed to end the war rather than prolong a ceasefire. It also urged the US to lift sanctions, end its naval blockade of Iranian ports, pull forces out of the region and stop all hostilities, including Israel's operations in Lebanon. [1]

There was no immediate confirmation from Washington or Islamabad that the US had replied. Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said, "At this stage, we do not have nuclear negotiations." [1]

US President Donald Trump said on Saturday he was reviewing the proposal but doubted it would produce a deal. On social media, he said Iran "have not yet paid a big enough price for what they have done to Humanity, and the World, over the last 47 years". [1]

The latest tensions came as a cargo ship near the Strait of Hormuz was attacked by multiple small craft. [1]
