Bit Kit's Wolfhound puts players in the boots of Chuck Rosetti, a WWII captain sent to probe Nazi experiments on a Bermuda island, as the indie game mixes Wolfenstein-style combat with Metroidvania exploration. [1]

The game uses an 8-bit look that recalls the Sega Master System and TurboGrafx-16, with colorful tilesets and smooth character movement. Its world links jungle, mine and Nazi castle areas, and it adds save rooms and upgrade systems to guide progress through the map. [1]

Bit Kit says Wolfhound is built to be tough. Its difficulty is closer to modern games such as Hollow Knight than to older Metroidvania titles. [1]

The studio has not locked a release date, but it expects Wolfhound to arrive toward the end of 2026. [1]
