Fuse Games said Star Wars: Galactic Racer will launch on October 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox and PC, after the game was briefly leaked on Steam and then officially confirmed on May 4, 2026. [1, 2, 3]
The runs-based racing game is set in the Outer Rim of the Star Wars galaxy and puts players in the cockpit of the mysterious pilot Shade. It includes a single-player campaign, strategic vehicle customization, podracers and online multiplayer racing. [1, 2]
The game was first announced at The Game Awards in late 2025. In its official blurb, the studio said players join "the Galactic League," an unsanctioned circuit where they can "forge alliances," revive rivalries and settle old grudges. [1, 2, 3]
Fuse Games also detailed three editions. The standard edition costs $59.99. The Deluxe Edition costs $79.99 and adds three bonus vehicles — the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, Kor Sarun: Ciza T speeder bike and Kor Sarun: Rak S skim speeder — plus three unique arcade events, deluxe livery and player banner packs, and a digital art book. [1]
The Collector's Edition is priced at $159.99. It adds a model of the Kor Sarun Darc X landspeeder, a physical banner, two pilot patches, a physical art book, a custom slip cover and a steel case. [1]
Pre-orders are open for all editions as of early May 2026. The scheduled release date remains Oct. 6, 2026. [1, 2, 3]
