Rebs Gaming said over the weekend that two more sources confirmed Halo Studios is developing remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3, while work is also active on a third remake. The report said the Halo 2 and Halo 3 projects are in early development. [1]
The leaker said the trilogy remakes are moving ahead regardless of how well Campaign Evolved performs, quoting a source who said the remakes are “definitely happening.” [1]
Rebs Gaming also said Halo Studios is working on a new multiplayer project and the next mainline Halo game. [1]
The report came as former Halo boss Kiki Wolfkill said earlier this week on LinkedIn that she was leaving Xbox after 28 years. [1]
