Square Glade Games moved Outbound’s early access release up to May 11, 2026, three days before Subnautica 2’s early access launch on May 14, 2026. The studio said it was best not to compete with the highly anticipated title on the same day and wrote that it needed to “dodge the Leviathan.” [1]
