Arc System Works confirmed Savage Hulk and Shuri’s Black Panther as playable fighters in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls during Evo Japan 2026. The trailer and a follow-up post also showed Wakanda as a new stage and teased a mysterious character called The Champion. [1]
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is due out on Aug. 6, 2026, for PC and PlayStation 5. Arc System Works said demos will be available first at Combo Breaker 2026 starting May 22, then at Hong Kong Comic Con 2026 starting May 29. [1]
Kotaku said the Avengers side of the initial roster is now complete, with Captain America, Iron Man, Savage Hulk and Shuri as Black Panther. The outlet also said the game will add 4 more characters through DLC. Kotaku described Hulk in the teaser clue as having “overwhelming power and instability.” [2]
The roster reveal comes as the game’s launch date gets closer and the first public demos are set to begin later this month. [1]
