Forza Horizon 6 kicked off the "Welcome to Japan" Series 1 Festival Playlist on May 21, 2026. The event runs until June 18 and is divided into four weekly seasons with time-limited challenges for players worldwide [1, 2].
To participate in the seasonal playlist activities, players must have at least a yellow wristband. Each week features multiple tasks including missions, photo challenges, and treasure hunts that players can complete to earn points [1, 2].
Points collected from these seasonal challenges unlock rewards such as unique cars, credits, and cosmetic items. However, seasonal events restrict the types of cars players can use to earn points. Using unqualified cars will disqualify the points [1].
Seasonal online challenges also pit players against each other in competitive racing events, increasing the stakes for leaderboard positions [1].
During the opening week from May 21 to May 28, called the Summer season, players can earn the 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition for 20 points and the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR for 40 points [2]. Over the entire 28-day Series 1 event, additional rewards include the 2008 Mazda Furai (60 points), 2010 Nissan 370Z (120 points), as well as the 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec, 1991 Honda CR-X SiR, 2019 Subaru STI S209, and 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 cars [2].
The "Welcome to Japan" Series 1 ends on June 18, after which Series 2, titled Horizon Decades, is set to begin [2].
