Crimson Desert patch 1.05.00 is live and lets players fight up to 69 defeated bosses again, including on higher difficulty levels, while keeping consumables used in the rematch fights. [1]

The update also adds a "Re-blockade" toggle in the Pywel region. Players can use it to turn cleared maps back into a state of war, with 13 factions able to re-blockade 23 forts and quarries. [1]

Pearl Abyss said no new loot drops from the boss rematches, but the fights do not consume items permanently. The patch also brings bug fixes and quality-of-life changes, including a fix that lets players collect previously unobtainable gold bars that convert into Crude Gold Bar worth 5 Silver. [1]

The update gives players another way to revisit late-game encounters and reset territory control without starting over. It also lets them keep two legendary animals, Iron Eagle and Hyacinth Macaw, as pets. [1]

Pearl Abyss has been pushing rapid updates for Crimson Desert, even as the single-player open-world game is handled with live-service-style support. The studio also received $2.5 million in bonuses after the game crossed 5 million copies sold. [1]
