Trump Mobile’s gold T1 phone, announced on June 16, 2025, remains undelivered to any confirmed customer after the company repeatedly shifted its shipping guidance and later removed the release date from its website. [1, 2]
The company described the T1 as a gold Android smartphone sold with a Trump Mobile service plan. It said the handset works with its 5G service plan priced at $47.45 a month. [1, 2]
Sources said about 590,000 to 600,000 people placed $100 deposits or orders for the phone, for a total of roughly $59 million to $60 million. Neither source said any buyer had received the device by the reporting dates. [1, 2]
The shipping timeline kept slipping. Trump Mobile first said the phone would ship in late summer 2025. In later updates, a Trump Mobile representative told NBC News in October 2025 it would ship on Nov. 13, then said in November it would ship in December. [1]
By April 2026, Trump Mobile had redesigned its website and removed the release date. The company later said all preordered phones would be delivered within the next several weeks. [1, 2]
Trump Mobile also said the delays were acceptable, saying, “delays were worth it in our minds as we are delivering an amazing product.” [2]
