Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) announced it will offer four free artificial intelligence courses exclusively to its graduates, starting in October 2026. The courses include Generative AI For Productivity, Empowering Your Workforce With Generative Artificial Intelligence, Programming For Analytics, and a new Human-First AI Core course designed to combine AI capabilities with human-centric skills [1].

Applications for these courses are set to open in June 2026. Though offered free, each course will carry a $50 administrative fee. The courses can be stacked toward full qualifications such as a specialist diploma [1].

The announcement comes as more than 25,000 students are expected to graduate across Singapore's five polytechnics by May 11. The graduation season began on May 4 with ceremonies at NP's Clementi campus, where Education Minister Desmond Lee addressed attendees. Lee urged graduates to "take advantage of these courses to stay at the cutting edge" amid rapid advances in AI technology [1].

Besides NP’s offerings, Singaporeans who enroll in selected AI training courses through SkillsFuture will receive six months of free access to premium AI tools starting in the second half of 2026 [1].

The four free AI courses aim to equip NP graduates with practical skills to integrate AI into workforce productivity and analytics. The Human-First AI Core course focuses on maintaining human-centric approaches in AI applications. The polytechnic emphasized these courses will support graduates in adapting to evolving technology demands in their careers [1].

The graduation season across all five polytechnics is expected to conclude by May 11, 2026 [1].
