A Singapore court on Monday jailed former air steward Goh Choon Sian for 4 months and 2 weeks after he filmed a colleague topless while she slept in his bedroom. [1]

Goh, a 31-year-old Malaysian, pleaded guilty to one count of voyeurism, court documents said. [1] The victim was a 28-year-old colleague he met after a training event in 2024. [1]

The pair met for food and drinks in Tanjong Pagar on Nov. 29, 2024, before going to Goh's home. [1] They entered his bedroom the next morning, and Goh pulled down the woman's clothes and recorded 2 videos of her topless while she was asleep, prosecutors said. [1]

When the woman woke up and confronted him, Goh deleted the videos at her request and repeatedly apologised, according to the facts presented in court. [1] The woman later left the house, went home and filed a police report the same day. [1]

The prosecutor asked for a jail term of 5 to 6 months, while the defence asked for 4 to 6 weeks. [1] Defence lawyer Richard Lim said Goh had interacted amicably with the woman in a “social setting” and that the matter was “settled,” while also saying Goh lost his job with the airline because of the case. The court's sentence came on May 4, 2025. [1] The next stage in the case, if any, was not stated in the facts provided. [1]
