Children’s Cancer Foundation launched the Hair for Hope 2026 Concept Train on Singapore’s Circle Line on May 4, using a branded carriage to promote childhood cancer awareness and raise funds for the annual head-shaving campaign. [1]

The campaign aims to draw 5,000 shavees and S$5 million, and organisers said it had already surpassed its 2025 goal. [1] The train is a first collaboration between Children’s Cancer Foundation and SMRT Trains, and it carries ambassador stories and QR codes for commuters. [1]

Through the QR codes, commuters can register to shave their heads, donate to the charity or volunteer with CCF. [1] The train will run on the Circle Line from May 4 until Aug. 16. [1]

Among the stories featured is that of Antonela, who was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma in 2021 when she was 3 and died in July 2025 at age 7. [1] Ms Judy Tan said she wanted to stand in solidarity with other children facing similar journeys. [1]

“She was a little warrior filled with bravery and courage. Despite her illness, she always led each day with smiles and joy,” Tan said. [1] She added: “I want to support the children and let them know that it’s okay to be bald. Being bald is temporary.” [1] Tan also said: “For a little cancer fighter on the street, it will encourage them that the whole world is fighting for them.” [1]
