Singapore will launch Go Green SG 2026 on May 11, with more than 1,000 activities led by around 500 partners across the city-state through June 28. [1]
Sentosa will mark the campaign with a free guided tour in May and June at the Sentosa Nature Discovery gallery. The tour is organised by Sentosa Development Corporation and the National Environment Agency, and will cover Sentosa’s wildlife, conservation efforts, cooling measures and sustainable practices at Siloso Beach Resort. [1]
The programme comes as Singapore’s Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment has named 2026 the country’s Year of Climate Adaptation. Ms Gloria Tan, NEA’s director of 3P (people, public and private) Network Division, said: "It’s important for the public to know what climate adaptation is about and how it is relevant to them." She added that "The guided tours provide a hands-on experience for everybody to go through because explanations in classrooms can only do so much, but seeing is actually believing." [1]
At Siloso Beach Resort, the tour will point to a wormery with 100 trays of earthworms that produces 300kg of fertiliser each month, along with heat-reflective paint that can cut surface temperatures by up to 2 deg C. [1]
Go Green SG 2026 runs until June 28. [1]
