Flexar launched in Singapore on May 4 with a point-to-point car-sharing service that replaces BlueSG's earlier offering. The company said it is starting with more than 200 vehicles and about 100 pick-up and drop-off points across the island. [1]

The fleet includes both electric and petrol cars, unlike BlueSG, which operated only electric vehicles. Flexar said the service keeps the point-to-point model used by its predecessor. [1]

Flexar said the service uses per-minute pricing and does not charge membership or deposit fees. It also offers the first five minutes free, according to the company. [1]

The pick-up and drop-off network is centered mainly in residential areas in central, northern, north-eastern and eastern Singapore. Locations include Punggol, Sengkang, Hougang, Tampines, Ang Mo Kio and Toa Payoh. [1]
