Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir expressed his gratitude on Friday for the public support he received at Masjid Tuanku Muhriz in Jempol. About 1,500 worshippers attended a special Solat Hajat prayer session, where the ruler was accompanied by his two sons [1].
Following the prayer, Tuanku Muhriz personally distributed contributions to children present at the event. He also took part in a banquet and accepted a memorandum from Muhamad Kamel Yassin, President of the Otai Reformasi Negeri Sembilan Organisation (Profansi) [1].
Datuk Seri Megat D Shahriman Zaharuddin said 12 non-governmental organizations gathered at the mosque to express loyalty and allegiance to the Sultan. "The spirit shown today proves that we are always with Tuanku and with the state. The presence of these 12 NGOs is a positive initiative to express our support," he said [1].
Megat D Shahriman also called for political disputes in Negeri Sembilan to be settled with tact and diplomacy to preserve harmony and the well-being of the people [1].
