A Malaysian Armed Forces truck crashed into the Bukit Teratai Toll Plaza area on the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Expressway (SUKE) in Kuala Lumpur on May 1, injuring 15 army personnel, authorities said [1].

The truck was traveling from Sungai Besi Camp towards Kuala Kubu Bharu when it lost control and collided with the toll plaza. Police believe the crash was caused by a failure of the vehicle's brake system. "Initial investigations found that the truck involved is believed to have lost control before crashing into the toll plaza area," said Ampang Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Khairul Anuar Khalid. He added, "The accident is believed to have been caused by a failure of the vehicle's brake system" [1].

Police received information about the crash at about 4:40 p.m. on May 1 [1]. The injured personnel were immediately taken to Ampang Hospital for further treatment [1].
