A 30-year-old Algerian man died after falling at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 at about 9:10 pm on May 1, police said. The fall happened in the outer balcony area of the airport terminal. [1]
Medical staff gave emergency treatment at the scene before the man was taken to Cyberjaya Hospital. He was pronounced dead there at 2:55 am on May 2. [1]
Police said they are investigating the case and have classified it as a Sudden Death Report, or SDR. They also asked the public to contact the KLIA District Police Headquarters if they can help with the probe. [1]
Police said an earlier similar case involved a Chinese national who died after falling from Level 3 of KLIA Terminal 2. [1]
