NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang praised Taiwan's manufacturing strength and supply chain ecosystem at COMPUTEX, calling it "the core of the entire ecosystem" for technology manufacturing. He announced plans for an annual $150 billion investment in Taiwan and a new headquarters in Taipei by 2030 [1, 2, 3]. Intel CEO Chen Liwu (Tan Lip-Bu) delivered a keynote on June 2 outlining Intel's four core AI pillars: Personal Computers, Edge AI, Agentic and Physical AI, and Foundational Data Centers, reflecting growing CPU demand driven by the agentic AI trend [4, 5]. Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon, who opened COMPUTEX 2026 on June 1, declared 2026 the "Year of the Agent" for AI agents and unveiled the Dragonfly server cabinet [9, 10]. Taiwan’s economic growth forecast for 2026 is 9.64%, and its stock market total market capitalization stood at $4.95 trillion as of May 2026 [2]. Intel’s stock price has risen over 340% under Chen’s leadership, with over 300 PC designs using Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 and more than 4,000 partners adopting their Edge computing technology [4, 7, 8]. The physical AI market is projected to reach $25 trillion by 2050 [8].
