A shooting at a party near Arcadia Lake outside Oklahoma City sent at least 13 people to hospitals on Sunday night, Edmond police said. Officers got reports of shots being fired at about 9 p.m. at a gathering of young people. [1]

Police said no arrests had been made as of late Sunday. Victims were in various conditions, and police did not give a full breakdown of injuries. [1]

Edmond police spokesperson Emily Ward said investigators were trying to find the suspects and were speaking with victims and witnesses across the metro. “This is obviously a very terrifying situation and we understand the concern from the public and those involved and we are working extremely hard to find the suspects,” Ward said. She also said, “We’re kind of all over the metro speaking with victims and witnesses.” [1]

Police said 10 people were taken to hospitals and others drove themselves, bringing the total hospitalized to at least 13. The shooting happened on May 3 at night near Arcadia Lake, about 13 miles northeast of Oklahoma City. [1]

By late Sunday, police said the search for suspects was still active and investigators were continuing to interview people linked to the party. [1]
